Pro Corda, Suffolk
Pro Corda offers a wide range of programmes and courses for talented young musicians. Pro Corda is lucky to have its own year round permanent home, Leiston Abbey in Suffolk, and the warm family environment there combined with the facilities of an international music school provide the perfect setting for young people to explore and learn creatively together in a safe and inspiring environment. The International Chamber Music Academy courses form Europe’s only age progressive series of residential chamber music courses for ages 5-18. Pro Corda also offers specialist courses for viola, cello and piano, alongside opera and chamber orchestra courses, and provides its students with prestigious performance opportunities at venues throughout the UK, including Wales Millenium Centre and Wigmore Hall.

Benslow Music
Benslow Music, conveniently situated in the market town of Hitchin, thirty miles north of London, offers a wide range of some 160 short residential music courses for non-professional musicians of all ages and abilities, from beginners to near-professional level, throughout the year both during the week and at weekends. Its hand-picked tutors include some of the most famous names in the music business, while its hospitality and musical facilities are second to none and its gardens are outstandingly beautiful.
For those within easy travelling distance, there are also frequent world-class concerts, mainly but not exclusively of chamber music.
