The Galeazzi Ensemble

The Galeazzi Ensemble

Sunday, September 17, 2017 - 15:00

The ensemble's programme presents a mini tour of Europe with composers from Austria, France and the Czech Republic. Whilst all pieces were composed at the end of the 18th century, a very different style is apparent for each. Mozart needs no introduction - the C major quartet is bustling and energeitc. The Eler is a curious work, playful, and quirky, never failing to please an audience. The Krommer is a work on a grand scale in 4 movements anticipating the form and harmonic language of the Romantic era.
