An Entertainment for Prince Gabriel celebrates the life and musical tastes of Prince Gabriel of Borbon (1752-1788). Music was one of the infante major interests, he was above all a keyboard player, a collector of harpsichords, clavichords and organs and the destinatary of a large part of Antonio Soler keyboard works, those including the six concertos for 2 keyboard instruments.
