Oxford Chamber Music Society - The Sitkovetsky Piano Trio

The SitkovetskyTrio, making a welcome return to OCMS, was formed in 2007 by three international soloists who had met at the Menuhin School, and is now recognised as one of today’s outstanding trios. First prizewinner of the International Commerzbank Chamber Music Award 2008, receiving the NORDMETAL Chamber Music Award at the Mecklenburg Vorpommern Festival 2009, the Trio has held Junior Fellowships at the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College London. In demand at International festivals, the Trio has played the Beethoven Triple Concerto with several orchestras in the UK and Europe. It has been broadcast a number of times on BBC Radio 3.
