Oxford Philomusica Chamber Series
Oxford Philomusica Chamber Series
Oxford Philomusica’s first dedicated series of chamber music concerts will take the form of early evening hour-long concerts at Oxford’s Maison Française, featuring the distinguished principal players of the Orchestra: the Soloists of Oxford Philomusica. The series is under the patronage of Raymond Blanc OBE.
This concert ends the season with a sequence of sonorities from the leading trio of French impressionists – Debussy’s intimate, introspective Sonata, Roussel’s engagingly exploratory Sérénade, and Ravel’s characteristically fastidious homage to his one-time mentor, Fauré.
Ticket price includes a pre-concert glass of wine (available from 6pm)
