Follow Classical BRIT Award-winning violinist Ruth Palmer (left) on her search to uncover the magic behind Stradivari violins. The film profiles the history of the rare instruments, often valued at millions of pounds. The journey ends at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, where the most perfectly preserved Stradivari violin in existence, The Messiah, is currently displayed in a glass case. There are also performances from Joshua Bell, James Ehnes, Heinrich Schiff, Natalie Clein and Steven Isserlis, bringing the instruments to life and revealing why they are so highly sought after.
