Snittke
I do not really know Snittke's music but the piece I heard on this time's Music Magazine 'Listen' seems very morbid indeed. I must hear more to say whether he is anything like Shostakovich, whose music I enjoy very much. There is a great deal of sadness in a lot of Shostakovich music but I do not think he is actually morbid.
