Here's a snippet from the final movement of Beethoven's Third Cello Sonata (1808)  - the gently flowing Allegro Vivace. Beethoven wrote five cello sonatas and three sets of variations for cello and piano, all of which have been recorded for this new disc by Jean-Guihen Queyras and Alexander Melnikov.
