With the BBC Music Magazine Awards 2011 now open for voting, we'll be offering a weekly podcast exploring the nominations in each category.

In this third instalment, which you can listen to on this page, editor Oliver Condy is joined by reviews editor Daniel Jaffé and chair of the Awards jury Helen Wallace to chat about the discs in the choral category.

This year's nominated recordings include JS Bach's Motets, Langgaard's The Music of the Spheres and Poulenc's Figure Humaine.

To let us know which disc you think should win a coveted Award this April, cast your vote now!

For discussions of the vocal and chamber categories, listen to the first and second episodes of the podcast.
