Because of the coronavirus pandemic, St John’s Smith Square has been forced to close its doors to artists and audiences alike. In response to the closure, it has now launched a ‘pay it forward’ campaign in which supporters can donate the cost of a concert ticket for an NHS worker to use when the venue reopens.

The campaign is set to take place over a four-week period in order to create an NHS free tickets fund. When the lockdown is lifted and St John’s Smith Square is reopened to the public, NHS workers can register for the free tickets scheme to redeem a ticket to a concert of their choice at the venue.
