The BBC Symphony Orchestra (BBC SO) and soloists including violinist Chloë Hanslip (left) are performing at London’s Westfield shopping centre in a special Prom on 21 June.

The BBC Proms Out & About is designed to be a family-friendly affair and features works such as ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ and a ‘funky’ version of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus.

Hanslip will be performing John Williams's music from the film Schindler’s List in a programme which also includes Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and Williams’ theme from Star Wars. Mike Seal will be conducting the BBC SO, joined by soloists and local school children.

Tenor Tyler Clarke will perform the aria ‘Il mio tesoro’ from Mozart’s Don Giovanni. He will be joined by soprano Susanna Hurrell for Puccini’s ‘O soave fanciulla’ from La bohème.

The concert is free and begins at 6.30pm. Shoppers at Westfield will also be able to take part in free Come & Sing workshops on 19 June at 12.30 and 3pm.
