We are celebrating the start of the BBC Proms in our July issue, out today. How about you celebrate with us by taking a selfie with the bust of Proms founder Sir Henry Wood, just like Sir Andrew Davis did in his cover photoshoot (above)?
The bronze cast usually lives at the Royal Acadamy of Music, but each year Sir Henry takes residence at the Royal Albert Hall for the Proms. On the Last Night, prommers place a laurel 'chaplet' around his neck and cover him with party streamers!
