David KadouchOn Friday 3 August, French pianist David Kadouch is performing a programme of works by Liszt, Medtner, Taneyev and Chopin at the Verbier Festival in the Swiss Alps – and we've teamed up with Medici TV to show the concert live on our website.

Born in 1985, David Kadouch studied at the Nice Conservatoire. Playing for Itzhak Perlman at just 13, David joined Dimitri Bashkirov at the Queen Sofía College of Music in Madrid in 2003 (where he is still based). With a string of competition titles to his name, including the 2009 Grand Prix from the Verbier Academy, David was also recently chosen by Daniel Barenboim to take part in the Barenboim on Beethoven DVD.

For his recital on Friday, David starts with some Lisztian virtuosity – the Variations on Bach's Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen – before going on to perform Medtner's Sonata-Reminiscenza and Taneyev's Prelude and Fugue in G sharp minor, Op. 29. The recital ends with Chopin's 24 Preludes.

Head to our website at 10am BST (9am GMT) on Friday 3 August to watch the recital live. Or you'll be able to watch the concert on our website for 90 days afterwards.
