VOTING HAS NOW OPENED for the 2014 BBC Music Magazine Awards, your chance to help choose – and reward – the very best classical music recordings made throughout last year. Our jury of critics has selected the 21 nominated discs from hundreds of five-star recordings, but who ultimately wins is now up to you!

Over the next few pages you’ll be able to hear extracts from the 21 nominated recordings. Simply choose your favourites and cast your vote.

First prize is a Cambridge Audio hi-fi system worth £900

Everyone who votes will be entered into a draw to win some amazing prizes. One first-prize winner will receive a Cambridge Audio hi-fi system* worth £900 plus all nominated CDs; three runners-up will each receive a Cambridge Audio Minx Air 200 speaker worth £430 plus all nominated CDs.
