Tenor Rolando Villazón discusses the well-known works of Guiseppe Verdi with the people who perform them today.

In interviews with Verdi singers, conductors and stage directors, he discusses the composer’s skill and unique genius for music drama.

Villazón will look at the historic and dramatic context behind well-known operas, including Rigoletto, La Traviata and Otello.

'He was a superstar, people adored him, people in the street sang Verdi’s tunes – and not only at that time. Today, centuries after, we recognize La donna è mobile,' says Villazón
