In the Christmas issue of BBC Music Magazine we’re celebrating the enchanting world of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.

To whet your appetite, we’ve put together an audio slideshow of pictures from the Royal Opera House’s production of the Christmas classic.

Tchaikovsky’s music is performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by André Previn in a Warner Classics recording.
