Stephen Cleobury directs the choir of King’s College, Cambridge in a candlelit service of Easter music and readings.

The service is part of Easter at King’s, an annual festival started in 2004 that celebrates the liturgical marking of Holy Week and Easter with a wide range of concert performances in and around the historic chapel of King’s College, Cambridge.

The broadcast will include Eastertide music from composers including Allegri, Byrd, Vaughan Williams and Handel. Readings come from the King James Bible and poets John Donne, George Herbert and Siegfried Sassoon.
