Familiar choral tunes by Fauré and Canteloube rub shoulders here with many more unfamiliar ones: Saint-Saëns’s Deux chansons and the works by Delibes and Massenet being well worth the discovery. The Vasari Singers make questionable soloists but an accomplished ensemble.
