Gareth Malone (left) has selected four choirs from workplaces across Britain. They will now compete against each other for the first time. Workers from Lewisham NHS, The Royal Mail in Bristol, Manchester Airport and Severn Trent Water will perform new songs in the semi final of Sing While You Work in Bristol's Colston Hall in front of three judges who will then decide which choir will leave. As well as learning new songs, the choirs are given the challenge to create a distinctive performance routine in order to stand out, and all with only four weeks to prepare. Tensions, inevitably, are running high.
