The 450th anniversary of Dowland’s birth is celebrated at this year’s festival, with countertenor Iestyn Davies and lutenist Thomas Dunford performing many of his finest songs.
The Rose Consort of Viols with soprano Bethany Seymour also commemorate the great English songwriter, while harpsichordist Fabio Bonizzoni directs sacred vocal versions of Corelli’s trio sonatas.
