The Royal Ballet’s award-winning take on Franz Kafka’s literary masterpiece
The award-winning dance theatre piece based on Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis receives its television debut on Sky Arts 2 this week.
Arthur Pita’s choreography has been praised for its visceral depiction of events in the novel, and Frank Moon’s chilling score provides a suitably dramatic soundtrack to the disturbing events that unfold.
Royal Ballet’s Edward Watson gives an incredible performance as the salesman Gregor Samsa who inexplicably transforms into a hideous creature. Also starring Laura Day, Nina Goldman and Neil Reynolds.
