Rachel Podger leads Brecon Baroque in music by Corelli, Purcell, Biber and Schmelzer
Rachel Podger and Brecon Baroque perform at Tredegar House in New Port, South Wales.
Tredegar House – built in the 17th century – is considered to be one of the finest buildings of the Restoration period in Britain.
Set in 90 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland, the music of Corelli, Purcell, Biber and Schmelzer will be heard live from the old Riding School of the house.
Katie Derham will contextualise the music in relation to the surroundings in conversation with the Antiques Roadshow’s Lars Tharp.
