    Bracknell Choral Society's Christmas concert this year will be a performance of the ever-popular seasonal favourite, Handel's Messiah. The concert takes place in the magnificent surroundings of Wellington College Chapel.

    Tickets include a programme and mince pie and wine and soft drinks will be available. Tickets can be bought via our website, from choir members and online at the Book Online button above. As usual at our Christmas concert, we will have a retiring collection for a local charity and this year we are supporting the Thames Hospice 'Raise the Roof' appeal.

    Come and join Leicester Philharmonic Choir at its annual festive celebration of traditional Christmas music and carols and, this year, Mr Fezziwig’s Christmas Party.

    In Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, Mr Fezziwig is Scrooge's old boss, and we come across him as the Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge to review his past life. He is portrayed as a kind, jovial and amiable character who enjoyed a party in contrast to Scrooge’s miserly, miserable nature.

We are delighted to be joined by Mark O’Keeffe, Principal Trumpet of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Traditional carols, mulled wine and mince pies complete the evening in the atmospheric surroundings of Edinburgh's historic Greyfriars Kirk.
