This year's Llanfyllin Festival offers a feast of classical music and gives a wonderful opportunity to hear chamber music at its best,in a beautiful part of Mid Wales, and in a venue with a wonderful ambience for chamber music. Beethoven and Brahms are regular favourites. Roth's 3rd quartet is premiered in England just 3 weeks before the Allegri perform it for us; they have played the 1st and 2nd quartets at Llanfyllin in recent years, to great acclaim. This year the Allegri celebrate their 60th anniversary, and we are delighted to share their celebrations.
