We've turned the spotlight on the Emerald Isle for a playlist of the best Irish composers of all time

The Emerald Isle has been home to many wonderful composers, from the inventor of the Nocturne, John Field, to the creator of the popular hit Riverdance, Bill Whelan. In this playlist, we celebrate Ireland's classical music heritage, with pieces by Stanford, Ina Boyle, William Vincent Wallace and Deirdre Gribbin.
