The winners of the BBC Music Magazine Awards 2014 will be announced on 8 April at a ceremony at Kings Place, London. Voting has now closed for this year's Awards.

'From ravishing Wagner to captivating Britten, this year's nominations are as fascinating and enticing as ever,' says Oliver Condy, BBC Music Magazine's editor, 'and the artistry is as exceptional as it's ever been.'

Our expert jury of critics chose 21 CDs in seven categories, whittled down from over 1,300 recordings reviewed by the magazine over the past year. As well as the Orchestral, Opera, Choral, Vocal, Instrumental and Chamber categories, this year sees the introduction of a new Concerto category to the line-up – thanks to the volume of first-class performances.
