York's Chapter House Choir

Andrew Carter, founder-director of YORK'S CHAPTER HOUSE CHOIR, has long been a familiar contributor to King's College's annual Christmas Eve service.

His new collection of 22 of his carols, plus two short organ solos impressively pedalled (and double-pedalled) by John Scott, organist at St Paul's, confirms an individual voice, with a predominantly gentle sense of wonder, simply but subtly harmonised (York CD 169).
