This two-disc set gathers together various Linde Handel performances, including the Fireworks and Water Music. The latter is especially fine, superbly played and truthfully recorded. While the Fireworks Music is skilfully performed, the majestic aspect of the score could have been better projected; but overall the period instruments create a pleasing sound, with natural and clearly-articulated phrasing.
