Uxía visits ZEZO RIBEIRO’s guitar album for an outstandingly eloquent love song: his music, her words. There is another long, luscious melody in Edu Lobo’s ‘Beatriz’, otherwise the numbers are mostly Ribeiro’s inquisitive constructions on a North-East Brazilian base, sparky and laid-back by turns.
Samba comes up with additive rhythms, bossa nova with smooth synthesized strings or flamenco instrumental techniques, and in the title number the guitar becomes a whole band with built-in percussion and several personalities. A
