'Ten Pieces' is a new educational initiative run by the BBC which aims to present the wonders and joys of classical music to primary school children. Over the period of one school year, ten essential pieces will be brought to life through cinema broadcasts, activities and special performances.

We have joined in the fun with a special new series of features that introduce each of the ‘Ten Pieces'.

Part 1 in our November issue introduces children to the first movement from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in a fact sheet and fun ‘Things to do!’ worksheet. Click on the button below to download our special feature.
