It had to happen: the Jamaican pianist’s hugely popular jazz-reggae gets the Sly & Robbie treatment. The endorsement of these heavyweight human metronomes is probably intended to lend ‘roots’ cred, but Alexander is much more interesting with his own sidemen. GB
