For the first time in its 120-year history, the BBC Proms is to feature a virtual choir at the Last Night and Proms in the Park (pictured above).
Forces are being summoned by the Proms and Radio 2 for a giant Mary Poppins sing-along that will celebrate 50 years since the iconic Disney film was released.
So if you’re a Mary Poppins fan – go on, admit it – record a video of yourself singing ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ and submit it to the Proms by Sunday 31 August.
All the clips will be edited together to create the BBC Proms Virtual Choir which will 'perform' online and in parks around the UK during the Last Night of the Proms on Saturday 13 September.
The Proms team has said that no high-tech skills are required and that videos can be recorded on any device by individuals or groups. But for those of you who do want a few tips on making your video or indeed performing the song, help is at hand here on the BBC website.
Submit your ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ video HERE.
