Video: Oliver Condy meets Baroque violinist Rachel Podger
Our editor heads off to Wales to talk Bach and Brecon Baroque with the brilliant violinist

When James Naughtie interviewed the violinist Rachel Podger for BBC Music Magazine at the end of last year she said: 'I'm inspired by Bach because of the wholeness, the completeness of the music. Everything is there, in its place.'
Our editor, Oliver Condy, headed to Brecon in Wales, armed with a video camera, to interview Rachel about her Brecon Baroque Festival, her passion for Bach - and he even got a sneak preview of some of the music that will feature on her next recording…
Rachel Podger's most recent recording - of Concertos by JS Bach – is out now on Channel Classics. Our critic, Paul Riley, reviewed the disc in the June issue of BBC Music Magazine and said: 'Podger's Bach has always beens something special: this is indispensable.'
