Bach: Motets, BWV 225, 226, 227, 228, 229 230

Bach’s six motets are very well sung by the Swiss-Italian Radio Chorus, supported, where called for, by I Barocchisti, an ensemble of strings with woodwind. Conductor Diego Fasolis points up the grand architectural structure of these pieces with a rhythmic grace and precision which suffuse the music with textural clarity and expressive warmth.
