A well played addition to the Korngold discography. The Sursum corda might not match the BBC Philharmonic’s on Chandos, but the wonderful jazz-inflected Baby Serenade has never sounded better and the excerpts from Die tote Stadt and Das Wunder der Heliane are great tasters for the full works.
