You can argue that Mozart's later works benefit from the timbre of modern instruments, but with these I early symphonies, some of the eight which the teenage Mozart rattled off in seven months, the use of original instruments seems perfect for the task, even if Harnoncourt seems rather pedestrian in his reading.
