Berlioz/Saint-Saens

For any newcomer to Berlioz’s music, this is certainly a disc worth owning. His astonishing ear for orchestral colour is breathtakingly rewarded by the musicians of the Boston SO under their music director. The remastered sound may lack some brilliance, but this is amply compensated for by its warmth. Annette Morreau
