Music Without Boundaries

Everybody’s branching out, even the great names of India. MUSIC WITHOUT BOUNDARIES breaks ground for the staunchly traditional Navras label by setting Hariprasad Chaurasia and his percussion colleagues, Swapan Chaudhuri and Vikku Vinayakram, alongside veteran jazz fusion players. The line-up works smoothly because everybody understands where the others come from and can overlap a bit. Result, high tension and plenty of fun for a noisy audience, and an ethereal conclusion in the idealistic world of free creative exchange.
