Digdig

Move east and you reach the island of Reunion, where slide guitarist BOB BROZMAN parachuted in for his latest collaborative effort, one of his successes. The music of Reunion is so hybrid already, with French vocal and harmonic input to the fore and African elements well overlaid, that a bit more Americanising can't do much damage.

Far from it: this is lively high-energy stuff with a lot of fun, especially the instrumental items, and you can believe it brought the house down played live. The one thing that has gone to pieces is track order, with texts all over the place and songs parting company with their timings.
