Following BBC Countryfile's Ralph Vaughan Williams special on Sunday (12 October), we are teaming up with Countryfile magazine to ask our readers who their favourite British composer is.

It may be Ralph Vaughan Williams's evocation of pastoral England in The Lark Ascending that secures him your vote or perhaps you prefer the Renaissance mass settings of William Byrd. Select your favourite from the list of ten composers below and we will announce the winning composer on Monday 27 October.
